Ambulance Membership Programs

FireMed is a membership program of the central Lane County fire departments. Members receive emergency ambulance care and transportation with no out-of-pocket expense. Should a member require emergency ambulance services, FireMed will bill any insurance coverage and accept whatever it pays as payment-in-full.

LifeMed is a membership program of Western Lane Fire & EMS Authority, serving Florence and surrounding area. If a member requires a medically necessary transport, the patient will not be responsible for any deductible or co-pay not paid for by the insurance company. LifeMed will write off the balance due.
