Volunteers in Policing (V.I.P.) Program

Eugene Police Department's VIP Program partners citizens & police in support of crime prevention and community policing efforts. Volunteers serve subpoenas, help maintain vehicles, perform graffiti abatement, provide clerical support, investigate cold cases, photograph employee activities and events, locate stolen vehicles, perform disabled parking enforcement, and provide chaplain services.

Western Lane Crisis Response

Western Lane Crisis Response offers 24/7/365 mobile crisis support and follow-up for all ages facing mental health challenges, distress, or urgent needs. Serving Florence, Mapleton, Swisshome, Deadwood and Westlake. Our compassionate team provides in-person help and connects community members to needed care and resources.

White Bird Info Line

Comprehensive information and referral concerning human service resources in Lane County available to all, with a focus on assistance to people with low incomes, or special needs. Phone or walk-in assistance is available. Adjunct services include message and mail drop services for homeless people, publication of the annual HELP Directory.
