Veterans Angels, Inc.’s mission is to provide senior veterans and their families information and support in applying for the VA benefit to help with the cost of care.

Advocate for veterans, dependents, and survivors. Provides benefits counseling, assistance in filing VA claims and coordination with other agencies and service organizations. Services are free to veterans, spouses, and their dependents. Outreach available to Florence and Cottage Grove. Please call for more information.

Providing safe & reliable transportation to all veterans requiring assistance traveling to and from VA health care facility and authorized non-VA health care appointments for examinations or treatment. This program offers these services at little or no cost to eligible veterans.

An advocacy program through the District Attorney's Office to aid crime victims. Encourages and facilitates victim involvement in and participation with the criminal justice system through education, notification of court dates, emotional support, and connection with community resources.

The center provides activities in leadership, education, and recreation, nutrition & wellness five days a week. A large variety of informational classes, creative opportunities, trips, social games and lunches. A special Viking Sal lunch on Tu/Th/F; Café 60 (541-998-5367) on M/W/F.

Foot care provided 3rd Wed of each month. Cost: $25 for 30 minutes. Call for Appt. No diabetics.

Vista Wellness Center aims to empower our community through holistic health services that nurture the well being of the mind, body, and soul. We provide private and small group in- person and on-line Yoga Classes, Senior Yoga Classes, Meditation Classes and personalized Massage in our tranquil wellness center.

Adults receive free medical care if: 1) family income for the last 3 months is between 85% & 300% of federal poverty level; 2) no OHP eligibility, Medicaid, Medicare or other health care insurance; 3) residence is in any part of Lane County.

Provides medical services to uninsured adults by using more than 450 volunteers per month. Positions include: Behavioral Health Counselor Dispensary Lead, Eligibility Screener, Greeter, Medical Records, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomist, Physicians, Physician Assistant, Scheduler, Receptionist, Special Events, Spanish Interpreter.

Eugene Police Department's VIP Program partners citizens & police in support of crime prevention and community policing efforts. Volunteers serve subpoenas, help maintain vehicles, perform graffiti abatement, provide clerical support, investigate cold cases, photograph employee activities and events, locate stolen vehicles, perform disabled parking enforcement, and provide chaplain services.

Family Practice clinic offers primary medical care, Pediatric care & Behavioral Healthcare. CHC accepts Oregon Health Plan (OHP), Medicare, private insurance, and uninsured patients. OHP enrollment assistance available, sliding fee scale for services and payment plans.

Western Lane Crisis Response offers 24/7/365 mobile crisis support and follow-up for all ages facing mental health challenges, distress, or urgent needs. Serving Florence, Mapleton, Swisshome, Deadwood and Westlake. Our compassionate team provides in-person help and connects community members to needed care and resources.

We provide counseling services for individuals under the Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid, and free counseling for individuals who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We provide in-home, end-of-life counseling. Our screening form is on the website or in the office where there is help to fill it out.

Provides 24-hr crisis response by phone. Offers client centered and trauma informed crisis intervention, referrals to local resources, and support with navigating difficult times. Screening for mental health transportation services. No fee.

Providing dental treatment on a sliding scale by appointment including fillings, cleanings & other general dentistry. OHP and many Medicare dental plans accepted. Please call for appointment.

Comprehensive information and referral concerning human service resources in Lane County available to all, with a focus on assistance to people with low incomes, or special needs. Phone or walk-in assistance is available. Adjunct services include message and mail drop services for homeless people, publication of the annual HELP Directory.

Provides medical treatment for those with difficulty accessing medical care. Eligibility is open w/emphasis on low-income people with OHP, Medicare, Medicaid or uninsured. No one turned away for inability to pay for a visit. We have male and female identified providers.
